I have personally found, in management and leadership terms, that the more diverse the team becomes, the more we get to hear different viewpoints. The best part? These viewpoints herald from a vast range of different experiences and this, in my experience, has led to stronger decisions.

It also paves the way for more innovative thinking, and a workplace which is more welcoming to people regardless of their gender, ethnicity or professional background. But, this hasn't always been the case.
