The settlement comes a year and a half after the firm paid €50 million to settle a civil law claim connected to the ongoing tax saga.

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has reached an out of court settlement with the Frankfurt Public Prosecutor's office in the latest development in a long-running tax scandal.
