Two former London-based White & Case and Ropes & Gray partners have joined London law firm McCarthy Denning to launch its private equity real estate offering.
Tax partner Michael Wistow, who left White & Case at the end of 2020, and private equity real estate partner Iain Morpeth, who departed Ropes in 2018, both join McCarthy Denning as co-heads of private equity real estate, with Wistow also taking up the mantle as global head of tax.
