The class action settlement, announced on Wednesday, includes a $1.325 billion compensation fund program under which Roundup users can make claims for a period of four years. No such fund existed in a similar $1.1 billion deal that lawyers were forced to withdraw last summer after a federal judge raised numerous concerns.
