Slaughter and May has increased its newly-qualified (NQ) and trainee pay, the firm announced on Friday.

The latest adjustment means that NQ lawyers will now receive a pay bump of £3,500 for a total £90,500, up from £87,000. And from March 2021, the firm's first year trainee salaries will be £47,000, while second year trainees are set to receive £52,500. The rates were previously £45,000 and £51,000 respectively.
