Profits Took a Big Leap in 2020 at Locke Lord, Even as Revenue Slipped
The firm closed its Hong Kong office in 2020, but revenue from its U.K. office totaled $15.5 million—up from $15 million in 2019.

Revenue at Locke Lord declined by 2.9% in 2020 as the firm continues to slim down, but net income swelled by 14.8%, the result of expense cuts and strong demand in a number of practice areas that surged due to the pandemic.
Even as the COVID-19 pandemic injected uncertainty into the legal market, "We stayed focused," Locke Lord chair David Taylor said.
