More firms — including Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton; Debevoise & Plimpton; Paul Hastings; Goodwin Procter; and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett — have announced they will match the special associate bonus scale set by Davis Polk & Wardwell earlier this week. The firms' bonuses, like several others, stretch out bonuses throughout the year, offering one incentive for associates to stick around.
