Clifford Chance has matched a special associate bonus pay scale set by Davis Polk & Wardwell and is set to hand out payments of between $12,000 to $64,000 to U.S. associates.
The bonuses are being handed out to reflect the firm's "sincere gratitude for helping us continue to provide excellent legal counsel to clients across the firm, and doing so while managing through the unique personal challenges as a result of the pandemic", according to a memo sent to CC staff by Americas managing partner Evan Cohen and seen by Law.com International.
