This week, more on women and leadership. Because why not? I had finished writing the story and it turned out that more was left out. Stories usually have to strike an upbeat tone. But in real life, too many aspects of women's path to leadership were anything but upbeat. These are uncomfortable things that we don't like to talk about. But as long as we keep avoiding the inconvenient reality, the obstacles will remain.

Also, a note on the Asia Legal Awards. We were alerted that there is false information on social media about the awards and the winners. We have NOT announced the winners. If you receive questionable communications regarding the awards, please get in touch and check our shortlist here, where we list all the categories. We DO NOT have for example the category Young Lawyer of the Year. The winners again will be announced on Wednesday, May 5, at 6 pm Hong Kong time, via a free virtual ceremony. You can register here if you wish to join us.
