Elite U.K.-headquartered law firm duo Allen & Overy and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer are advising the six U.K. football clubs which had initially agreed to partake in the new European Super League, but have now pulled out of the proposition.

The future of the new midweek competition, which had initially been signed up to by heavyweight European clubs AC Milan, Arsenal FC, Atlético de Madrid, Chelsea FC, FC Barcelona, FC Internazionale Milano, Juventus FC, Liverpool FC, Manchester City, Manchester United, Real Madrid CF and Tottenham Hotspur, is now looking rocky after several changes of heart by clubs in the past 24 hours.
