Hogan Lovells has appointed a new managing partner for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region as incumbent Marie-Aimée de Dampierre steps up to chair in May.

Madrid-based corporate and finance partner José María Balañá will take over from de Dampierre, on May 1, concurrently taking up a seat on the firm's international management committee, helping steer its strategic direction and business operations.
