K&L Gates has strengthened its intellectual property practice with the hire of a new partner for its Melbourne office.
Patrick Sands, who joins the global firm from Herbert Smith Freehills, is known for providing commercially focused advice and guidance on major strategic intellectual property disputes, K&L Gates said in a statement.
