Allen & Overy is acting for Middle Eastern Emirate Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) amid a long-running dispute between two prisoners in RAK and Dechert, RAK’s historical adviser, court documents show.

Dechert, its former white collar head Neil Gerrard, white collar partner Caroline Black and former Dechert partner David Hughes (now at Stewarts Law), are facing two claims from the prisoners, which allege that Dechert committed “serious wrongs” during a fraud investigation the firm was leading on behalf of RAK in the Middle East years ago.
