U.S. duo Kirkland & Ellis and Davis Polk & Wardwell and U.K. firm Macfarlanes are leading on a deal which will see European confectionery giant Ferrero Rocher buy British-based Burton Biscuits, the manufacturer of iconic brands including Jammie Dodgers and Maryland Cookies. 

Burton biscuits owner the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board is selling the company for reportedly around £300 million.
