Goodwin Procter has hired a new partner in Hong Kong as the U.S. firm expands private equity offering to meet rising demand in the region.
Edwin Chan joins from Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison where he was counsel. Chan advises private equity sponsors on transactions through the life cycle of their investments; he's worked on deals including pre-IPO investments, special situations investments, private investment in public equity and investment restructuring and exits.
