When it comes to law firm staff policy, the pandemic has produced a rich forestry of topical offshoots: staff cuts, furloughs, remote working, staff well being, new technology, maintaining client relations, trimming real estate. The list goes on. Now rears the next big fault line of law firm politics: unvaccinated staff.

As we saw last week, many U.S. law firms have started issuing mandates on vaccinations – around 22, according to Law.com reporting. Among them are heavyweights Paul WeissDebevoise & PlimptonGoodwin Procter and Hogan Lovells. For the strictest of these, the mandate is simple: get jabbed, or stay home.
