Macfarlanes Hires From US Rival to Give Brussels Base Its Second Partner
The competition lawyer is set to join the firm later in September, and will work alongside the base's only other partner, Christophe Humpe.

U.K. firm Macfarlanes has hired a competition lawyer to its Brussels office from Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton.
Richard Pepper, a counsel in Cleary's Brussels base, is joining Macfarlanes as only the second partner to be based in the Belgian capital for the firm since it launched there in 2017.
