Law Firm Office Launches and Closures
McDermott, Will & Emery has officially launched in Singapore after gaining approval from local authorities.
The firm had touted a Singapore launch back in March, after its exit from the Asia Pacific region last year in June when it closed its China office. Following approval from the Singaporean Ministry of Law, the firm officially opens its new office in the Raffles Place area at the heart of Singapore's business district.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
