Former Dentons partner James Wishart is taking over the role of chief legal officer at publicly traded Canadian-based marijuana company Canopy Growth Corp. on an interim basis after the resignation of former CLO Phillip Shaer.
According to regulatory filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Shaer’s resignation was effective Oct. 1.
