With the two-day world leaders’ summit over, and the initial headline-grabbing announcements delivered, many of the global leaders have left the COP26 stage, making space for the negotiation teams to get stuck into the detailed discussions around contentious areas or, as one of the negotiators said, turning the spaghetti into something more digestible.
