Australian corporate law firm Allens and international firm Herbert Smith Freehills are advising on the $7.6 billion takeover of energy company AusNet by a consortium led by Canada’s Brookfield Asset Management.
AusNet, which owns and operates the primary electricity transmission network in the state of Victoria, along with an electricity distribution network and a gas distribution network, is being advised by Allens.
