At the COP26 climate change conference in Scotland earlier this month, world leaders signed off on a new climate change agreement. While some countries have committed to significant cuts, many others were hesitant to pledge ambitious targets. India, for example, a country heavily reliant on coal power, agreed to reach net-zero emissions by 2070.
