The pandemic did not slow the ascent of the Asia Pacific's rapidly expanding elite firms. A confluence of factors helped them outpace many of their Global 200 competitors, and their stellar increase in revenue made the Asia-Pacific one of the biggest bright spots in the legal industry.
But balancing attrition and ensuring that firms have critical mass is becoming tough in some markets. Also, a rapidly changing regulatory climate has made it difficult for firms to continue doing work in areas that until now have proved very lucrative. So, how will Asia Pacific firms fare in the near future? And what markets in the region will grow in 2022?
In this webinar, Lisa Shuchman, Executive Editor of Law.com International, hosts a discussion on these and other topics with Baker McKenzie Asia Pacific Chair Michael Wong; Herbert Smith Freehills Chair and Senior Partner Rebecca Maslen-Stannage; Law.com International Senior Reporter for Asia Jessica Seah; and Australia Correspondent Christopher Niesche.
