Ashurst and Herbert Smith Freehills are advising U.K. coach companies National Express and Stagecoach on an all-share merger that will create a company worth £1.9 billion.
The combined group is expected to have a fleet of approximately 40,000 vehicles, a 70,000 person workforce and more than a billion passenger journeys made annually. The deal is expected to complete in late 2022.
