Fresh from two bumper financial years in 2020 and 2021, law firms across the continent are preparing for changes on their respective political, economic and social fronts.

But as the COVID-19 pandemic stretches into a third year, firms in Europe are also grappling with some of the same broad, interlocking issues that affect firms the world over: the war for talent; new hybrid forms of working and their effect on workplace culture; and a heightened sense of urgency to look inward at quality-of-life issues, including mental health.
