Offshore firms have been making a lot of noise in Asia lately, often luring lawyers from 'onshore' firms.

Offshore law firm Ogier has launched a presence in Beijing by way of a representative office.
It comes just months after the Jersey-based firm launched in Singapore, having set out its ambition to establish presences in "Asia's key financial centres". The latest launch also adds to its offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo.
