The International Bar Association has publicly condemned the Association of Lawyers of Russia for issuing what the former called a “pro war statement”.
The IBA, which groups 190 bar associations worldwide, called on the Association of Lawyers of Russia (ALR) to repudiate its statement that “the legality of the decisions taken by the President of the Russian Federation follows from the applicable international law”.
