Australian High Court judges will be required to take annual group training classes about inappropriate workplace conduct, including sexual harassment and bullying, under a new workplace conduct policy introduced in the wake of revelations of sexual harassment by a former judge.

The High Court of Australia Justices’ Policy on Workplace Conduct states that it aims to provide standards of appropriate workplace behavior by the Chief Justice and other judges. No judge will engage in harassment, including sexual harassment of court staff and contractors, including in all social circumstances, the policy dictates.
