Norton Rose Fulbright Australia and Swiss Bank UBS have been accused of failing to co-operate with the Papua New Guinea (PNG) royal commission on its investigation into a controversial UBS loan that resulted in PNG's loss of over $400 million.

Norton Rose and its banking partner Vittorio Casamento, as well as former NRF senior associate Steven Moe and former partner Anthony Latimer, are now potentially facing a ban from doing business in Papua New Guinea, an island country in Oceania, north of Australia, that is rich in natural resources, including gold, copper and natural gas.
