A UK-based sports management consultancy has sued the PGA Tour and Fortinet Inc. in U.S. federal court, alleging the two did not compensate it for its role in producing the Fortinet Championship, a major golf tournament in Napa, California.

Dovel & Luner, a Santa Monica-based law firm, filed the suit Wednesday on behalf of 1440 Sports Management Ltd., a London-based sports management business that focuses on golf and motorsports.
