Herbert Smith Freehills has appointed a Tokyo partner to the new role of North Asia corporate practice head.
In the new role, partner Andrew Blacoe will lead the firm’s corporate practice in Tokyo and Seoul, according to a firm statement.
The firm said it has created the new role to "respond to client demand and the firm's continued Asia expansion".
