Dentons and Clifford Chance are advising alongside local counsel on a joint venture between Emma Capital, a private investment holding focusing on markets in Europe and Asia, and Entain plc, a global sports betting and gaming group, to drive the company’s expansion into Central and Eastern Europe.
The agreement will see Emma Capital sell a 75% stake in SuperSport, a major sports betting company in Croatia with a market share of 54%, which Emma Capital entered in 2018 and took full control of in early 2022, according to a release by Entain.
