In recent years, law firms have been talking the big talk about diversity. Terms such as ‘diversity committee’, ‘targets’ and ‘mentoring’ are now commonplace within firms, as they attempt to improve the make-up of their ranks, to better reflect the societies they operate in.
But it is hard to know how well firms are really doing without comparing them. Law.com International’s 2022 diversity rankings have revealed how far the statistics are matching up to these efforts and how much of an uphill climb is left to ensure true equality in the industry.
