Japanese Big Four firm Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu has hired its first Singapore-qualified contentious practice partner as it seeks to boost its dispute resolution capability in Southeast Asia.
Justin Ee specializes in commercial disputes and advisory work in a wide range of sectors including construction and infrastructure. He has represented clients as lead counsel in negotiations and various forms of dispute resolution including arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre. In a high-profile case, Ee successfully acted for DBS Bank in court proceedings against defaulting debtors, guarantors and mortgagors over shipbuilding loans and guarantees exceeding $8 million.
