A former business development executive at U.K. top 100 law firm Lewis Silkin has been banned from the profession by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) for allegedly fabricating emails from legal directory, The Legal 500.
In a decision published by the SRA on October 12, the regulator found that Emma Shears had fabricated two confirmation emails from The Legal 500 in relation to the firm's 2019 and 2020 submissions to the directory.
