Allen & Overy has added to its litigation practice in Italy with a partner hire from Willkie Farr & Gallagher, part of a firmwide strategy to build out its global commercial litigation capabilities at a time of "unpredictable circumstances and market uncertainties," according to the firm.
Francesca Petronio joins from Delfino Willkie Farr & Gallagher, an affiliate of the New York-based firm, where she has practiced as a partner for three years. Previously she was at Paul Hastings for 15 years, rising to partner and head of the litigation team, and was a senior associate at legacy firm Norton Rose for four years, according to her LinkedIn profile.
