U.K. law firm gunnercooke has launched in the U.S. with a New York office, as several firms continue to aim for a slice of the world's largest legal market.
The firm has hired the co-founder of boutique firm MacDonald Weiss as its U.S. chair for the launch, which signifies its pivot to building internationally. The firm only opened its first non-U.K. office in 2020, with a Berlin launch.
