Herbert Smith Freehills has appointed Tokyo partner Andrew Blacoe as its managing partner for North Asia, where it has 28 lawyers including seven partners in Tokyo and Seoul.
Blacoe succeeds fellow Tokyo partner David Gilmore, who will remain as the firm's head of disputes for North Asia.
