On the day before her training contract began India Barlow stayed over at her parents only to learn that her mum had been given six months to live. The coming year brought tragedy and then hope as leaders within the firm began to help her through.

Women in LawMy mum Gail Haresign was exactly who I wanted to be when I grew up. She was the best mum, an incredible career woman yet down to earth and friendly. Her smile would light up a room. She worked in the Civil Service since she was 16 progressing to a senior position and eventually being awarded an Order of the British Empire (OBE) for her career achievements.
