Slaughter and May and Ashurst have advised parties on the rescue of SVB UK.

Clifford Chance has joined Slaughter and May, Paul Hastings, Hogan Lovells and Ashurst on the advisory roster as HSBC swoops in to rescue the U.K. arm of the embattled Silicon Valley Bank (SVB).

The bank, founded in 1983, has been shut down by the U.S. Federal Deposit Insurance Corp following a liquidity crisis.
