As of April 19, 2023, there were 94 active listing applications for initial public offerings on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

While the number of listing applications have increased compared to last year, Hong Kong's average IPO size has shrunk. Most of the current listing ambitions are mid-sized deals. Hong Kong is now the seventh most sought-after listing venue in the world, slipping one position from the same period in the year before and from having been the world's largest for over a decade.
