Australian law firm Clayton Utz has hired a partner-led litigation team from DLA Piper, bolstering its litigation and dispute resolution practice in Melbourne. 

Partner Matt Spain has represented several financial clients in a number of significant regulatory investigations and disputes, as well as in the Financial Services Royal Commission, Clayton Utz said. He focuses on the resolution of large and complex financial services disputes, class actions, regulatory investigations, commissions and inquiries, insolvency and general commercial litigation, according to his LinkedIn profile. He had been with DLA Piper for three years.
