Gaia Silva Gaede Advogados, a multidisciplinary law firm that employs nearly 200 lawyers across five offices in Brazil, has opened an office in Spain catering to clients in Europe.

The office will be in Madrid and led by tax partner Marcos Catão, who was previously a partner at Brazilian firm Maneira Advogados, which works in association with Spanish law firm ECIJA. He joins from Maneira with two Brazil-based partners: M&A partner Renata Mendes Borges and international tax partner Verônica Melo, who are based in São Paulo.
