Brazil’s competition authority has green-lit an acquisition of a chocolate company by Nestlé more than two decades after the Swiss food and beverage giant sealed the deal.
The Administrative Council for Economic Defense, known as CADE, cleared the purchase of Brazilian confectionery Chocolates Garoto after a fresh investigation was opened in 2021.
