In Singapore, he was considered a sage who followed a life mandate to serve and advocate—all the grand values and ethos that universities feed aspiring lawyers. He was also funny.

The Asia Legal Briefing
Adrian Tan, the president of the Singapore Law Society and a partner at TSMP Law Corp., passed away over the weekend at age 57. Tan, who is survived by his wife, had been battling cancer for over a year.
