Japanese Law Firm Files Country's First Credit Suisse Bond Suit Against Brokerage Firm
The lawsuit comes about three weeks after Yamazaki Marunouchi Law Office launched a lawsuit against Credit Suisse Securities Japan for bonds linked to a now-bankrupt Greensill Capital-run fund.

Credit: ALM. Japanese law firm Kojimachi Oodori Sogo Law Office has filed a lawsuit with the Tokyo District Court against Monex Group Inc, a Tokyo-based online securities brokerage firm, on behalf of an individual investor seeking about $200,000 in compensation for Credit Suisse Additional Tier 1 (AT1) bond losses.
The lawsuit is believed to be the first lawsuit filed against a domestic securities firm in Japan for Credit Suisse AT1 bond losses, Kojimachi Oodori Sogo Law Office's founding partner Akiyoshi Motosugi told Law.com International.
