After a summer where most of its 14 offices and its clients felt choked by forest fire debris, Canadian regional law firm Cain Lamarre last week released a detailed sustainability policy that it says will be a foundation of its business strategy going forward.
"The alarm is now sounding big, and people are becoming aware," said Montreal-based Cain Lamarre partner Denis Cloutier. "We really have to do more and as a firm—we've decided that we weren't just jumping on that bandwagon, but we're taking the lead."
