Lawyers in Southeast Asia say they are seeing an abundance of “new money” and “dry powder” coming into the region eagerly seeking renewable projects.
Southeast Asian projects are increasingly getting buy-in from players and investors from the Middle East, North America and Europe. But there's a lack of large scalable projects in the region, despite the growing level of interest and dry powder designated for renewable projects, lawyers say.
