Simpson Thacher & Bartlett has hired Vinson & Elkins partner Gabriel Silva as a partner in New York, strengthening both its energy and infrastructure team and its Latin America practice.
Gabriel Silva joins Simpson Thacher than two months after Sidley Austin partner Katy Lukaszewski joined the firm's energy and infrastructure practice in Houston.
