French firm Gide Loyrette Nouel hired a “multigenerational” three-lawyer team of corporate and securities law specialists from rival Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier to expand its mergers and acquisitions practice in Paris.

Marcus Billam and  de Martigny were both partners at Darrois and previously worked together at both Allen & Overy and Clifford Chance. Alexandre Durand, who was counsel at Darrois, had also been at Allen & Overy. All three join Gide as partners.
